My Story
I grew up playing many sports, but tennis is the one that stuck with me. There was always something to improve, always a way to get better. That feeling of growth kept me coming back, and over time, the sport shaped who I am. It taught me discipline, patience, and the value of showing up every day with the mindset that I can be better than yesterday.
I went on to compete at the Division II level, earning First Team All-Conference honors twice, being named Scholar Athlete of the Year, and helping my team reach regionals three times. But beyond the achievements, what I love most about this game is that it rewards effort at every level. Whether you are just starting out or competing at the top, the pursuit of improvement puts you in a growth mindset that carries into everything else you do.
After graduating in 2025 with a degree in Business Management, I combined my coaching experience with my development skills to build NextSet. This platform is designed to help players and coaches track progress, set meaningful goals, and make every session count. Because this game is amazing, and everyone deserves the tools to get better at it. I have seen so many players lose motivation, feel they are not making progress, and I want to change that. I want people to choose a sport that might be more difficult at first, but more rewarding in the end.
